ESTABLISHMENT

St. Joseph’s foray into innovative education began in 1998

Over the last 22 years, with over 15 wholly-owned and franchised schools across India , St.Joseph’s Group has become a trend-setter in quality education from kindergarten to K12 education.

The St. Joseph’s Group, led by the revolutionary vision and persuasive action of the Chairman, Dr. Ajay Sharma, tirelessly supported by the hands-on approach of Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Marina Sharma believe that their journey into education has only just begun. With their vision firmly focused on educational advancement globally, they remain ahead of the curve, breathing new life into education across the country. They aim to nurture Good Human Beings and responsible citizens.

We at St. Joseph’s believes that education should mold each student in such a way that the spirit of God can be nurtured within each one of them.

In my opinion education should help a child to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and eternally. Knowledge is power and let us put in our best effort to unleash this Power.

Believe first in yourself, then in God and God within you! You must choose to do what makes you happy and let it be your Profession, You will reach the ultimate heights of success in that field. Be never satisfied with little, “Be Hungry Always!” Nothing will be able to resist truth, love and sincerity. Are you Sincere, Unselfish even unto death, and loving? If Yes, then fear not, Success is yours, my lads!!

All those who have chosen to be a part of St. Joseph's , must stay assured of a Virtual Honesty, Integrity and Dedication. The interior of your child will be designed to suit all weathers. Moreover, the foundation of such a precious life cannot be laid on deficit of Truth.

A school plays a central role in nurturing and developing the unique talent of every child as well as in shaping their character. In a fast-changing world, driven by technological innovations, the way children learn today and the way they will work tomorrow are redefining the contours of teaching and learning everywhere.

At St. Joseph's International School, we are always guided by our foundational philosophy of providing children happy learning experiences, while continuously incorporating the distinct features of a school of the future to foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. Children's holistic development and well-being are always at the heart of everything we do at our school. Our constant endeavour is to identify children's interests early on and develop them into their passion. I conclude with a message for my students: Whatever is done must be done with passion for only in that lies perfection. Never let fear or embarrassment keep you from participating in activities that interest you for it is only in school that you can actually discover your hidden talents and find the real you. The deepest regret in life is always for not doing what you wanted to. Let that not become a part of you. Also never betray the trust of someone for that is the most fragile and precious bond of all. Once broken, it can never be salvaged. Above all, never get so involved in what you are doing that you forget to enjoy yourselves. The secret of your success lies in your own happiness and wellbeing.

St. Joseph's International School was established in 2007.

Principal’s message

When students graduate from school, their entry into the world should be so smooth that nary a ripple should mar the transition from adolescence to adulthood; it should be so impactful that it touches the lives of multitudes; and it should be so unique that it remains etched in the minds of those who revelled in it.

This is the dream that we at St. Joseph’s have for our students. We want to prepare them so that they can face challenges with aplomb and accept success with humility. We want them to experience the real joy of living, not just obtain a vicarious knowledge of it through books. We want them to be known as honourable players and not just winners, as wise and not just intelligent, as understanding and not just knowledgeable, as kind and compassionate and not just friendly.

Life at St. Joseph’s is an exciting journey which begins when children enter its portals and step into the intricate domain of the scholar. Along with mastery of the various areas of academics, we encourage them to enjoy and excel in sports and other co-curricular activities. They are guided to learn the art of governance by organising events and donning the mantle of student leaders. They are taught to be independent in thought, but to act within the framework of decorum and respect for others.

We applaud those high achievers who bring fame to the school with their achievements in scholastic and non-scholastic areas. But it is those students who embody the values of selflessness, tolerance, honesty and integrity who are remembered much after they have left school and who leave an indelible imprint in the annals of the history of the school for they have chosen a far more arduous path to follow; one of self-discipline, which is replete with principles an ordinary person may find difficult to follow. This is who a true Josephyte is: A student who has the ability to triumph in any field he chooses and whose exemplary values place him far above the others in his area of expertise. It matters that the alumni of St. Joseph’s become trailblazers and that our students bring laurels to the school, but what matters more is that they be good human beings.

Faculty

'Tell me and I'll forget, show me and I may remember, Involve me and I'll understand.' This is the promise our teaching faculty works with! Our teaching strategy is one that makes learning an organic process where teachers become co-learners and partners in the process of value creation and learning. Our teachers don't instruct, they engage. Our teachers are not just teachers but guides, facilitators and motivators. They engineer learning experiences that manoeuvre the students into the driving seats and then they quietly get out of the way. The school strongly believes in developing and enhancing skills in teachers. The school conducts in-house training and capacity-building workshops for teachers to share best practices and learn from each other's experiences. The school also organises teacher-training workshops with educators to build their knowledge pool.

St. Joseph’s provides many opportunities to staff for professional development which include face to face and online workshops, webinars and opportunities to network and share best practice with peers. Continuous growth and development is critical to maintaining the excellence of our staff, and supporting the mission of the school, now and in the future.
